Launcher analytics & privacy

We record launcher visits and Play clicks to understand how Techment is used. A click does not tell us how long you played, and direct game visits are not included.

While signed out, your browser receives a random guest ID in a first-party cookie lasting 90 days. Guest activity includes that ID, the game opened, the time and your connection's IP address. No fingerprinting or external geolocation is used.

Guest IDs and IP addresses are visible only in the private administrator Command Center. Guest IDs identify browser storage, not people: a shared browser can represent several people, and one person can have several IDs. IP addresses can be shared or change.

Raw guest events and IP history have a 90-day window. Older guest records are removed automatically when analytics is used; inactive guest IDs are also removed after 90 days. Clearing the guest cookie creates a new ID on your next signed-out visit.

Signed-in activity is recorded against your account separately. We do not join earlier guest activity to your account. No historical guest identities are reconstructed from old aggregate counters.
